Data.gov.uk

Digimap
Society Digimap provides census and socio-economic data for Great Britain. As the datasets are provided as layers to visualise along with high quality Ordnance Survey data, it's possible to find data at very local levels. Registration required.

Food and agriculture data - FAOSTAT
Data for 245+ countries & territories, from 1961 to the most recent year available. Includes production, trade, prices, employment, value chain and much more.
International Monetary Fund (IMF) data

You can find official statistics produced by countries and compiled by United Nations data system, as well as estimates and projections.
