What if I can't access an article?

  • If the library does not have an article you need you can request it via Interlibrary loan.

Books and ebooks

The easiest way to search for books held in the library is to use the library catalogue. You can search by author, title or keyword. Google Scholar Search

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.

You can set Google Scholar to Findit@Brighton when you are off campus.

Select Scholar Settings. Under Library links type in 'University of Brighton', check box in results and click Save.
